What's New for CI360 in July 2025

SAS Customer Intelligence 360 releases operate on a continuous delivery model that allows for a more scalable, phased approach to feature deployment. Accordingly, these release notes are updated several times a month. Check them regularly.

 

Unless otherwise specified, the features listed below are General Availability. Features that are released as Limited Availability and Release Preview are indicated. For more information about release levels, see Phased Releases for SAS Customer Intelligence 360.

 

Access to the features listed here depends on your role, license, and the release phase. Contact your SAS representative if you have questions about a feature’s availability. For a full list of new features in SAS Customer Intelligence 360, see What's New.

 

The July 2025 release of SAS Customer Intelligence 360 includes the following new features and enhancements.

July 16

 

  • Redesigned Interfaces in Advertising Tasks for an Enhanced Experience: The updated task design is now available in the production tenant for all customers.
  • Audience Definitions (Release Preview)You can now add contextual information to an audience definition.

July 9

 

  • Scheduled Journeys (Release Preview): You can now save a copy of a scheduled journey. For more information, see Make a Copy of a Scheduled Journey in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: User’s Guide.

  • UDM Schema 18: The Unified Data Model (UDM) is updated for schema 18. Schema 18 contains enhancements to support these features:
    • support server-side content delivery
    • additional information about email tasks
    • additional information about SMS replies
    • contextual information for identities in SMS tasks

July 2

 

 

  • Scheduled Journeys Insights: The improved insights for scheduled journeys are now available in the production tenant for all customers.

  • Redesigned Interfaces in Advertising Tasks for an Enhanced Experience (Release Preview): As a marketer, you can now use a modern and seamless interface design to execute tasks for uploading audiences to social advertising platforms.

    The new task interface enhances the user experience by consolidating all the necessary information into a single integrated view. The expandable editing panes enable you to complete all the mandatory task configurations in a single window, without switching tabs.

    The consolidated view also displays the task configuration progress, task status, and easily accessible menus to view or specify other optional information.

July 1

 

  • Direct and Optimize Agents: The Direct and Optimize agents are now updated to use SAS 9.4 M9. To update the agents, edit the access point, click Download Framework and select the maintenance release of SAS 9.4 that is installed on your local environment. Then click Download Direct Framework to download the ZIP file to a directory on your local system.

    The agents and agent SDK are updated very month on the closest working day to the 15th of each month.

    Versions of the agents are supported for three months from their initial release. A version of an agent SDK is supported for a year from its initial release.

    The following are the recommended best practices to keep the agents and agent SDK updated:
    • Upgrade the agents every month, but at least once every three months.
    • Upgrade the agent SDK every three months, but at least once a year.
