What's New for CI360 in October 2025

SAS Customer Intelligence 360 releases operate on a continuous delivery model that allows for a more scalable, phased approach to feature deployment. Accordingly, these release notes are updated several times a month. Check them regularly.

 

Unless otherwise specified, the features listed below are General Availability. Features that are released as Limited Availability and Release Preview are indicated. For more information about release levels, see Phased Releases for SAS Customer Intelligence 360.

 

Access to the features listed here depends on your role, license, and the release phase. Contact your SAS representative if you have questions about a feature’s availability. For a full list of new features in SAS Customer Intelligence 360, see What's New.

 

The October 2025 release of SAS Customer Intelligence 360 includes the following new features and enhancements.

 

October 29

 

  • Email: There is an improved task experience available for designing and running email tasks. The new task design enables you to create the task without switching tabs. You can also easily track your progress as you design the task and see the task status.

  • Direct Agent: The ability to specify the format of the date placeholder for an export file name is now available in the production tenant for all customers.

    Note: These options are available when you use Direct agent v25.10 or later.

 

October 22

 

  • Direct Agent (Release Preview): When you update the Direct agent to v25.10, you can use additional variables to specify the format of the date placeholder for an export file name:

    • %%EXPDATEDMY%%: date that the export was created using the ddmmyyyy format (for example, "31122019")
    • %%EXPDATEMDY%%: date that the export was created using the mmddyyyy format (for example, "12312019")
    • %%EXPDATEYMD%%: date that the export was created using the yyyymmdd format (for example, "20191231")

October 11

 

  • Real-time Journeys: Split nodes in real-time journeys have been improved. Split paths now retain the same order in the node on the journey canvas as in Split Properties. Additionally, you can get more details about a path's criteria by clicking More and then Inspect metric.

October 8

 

  • General Settings for Email (Release Preview): The user interface for Email in General Settings has been updated to improve the user experience. The functionality remains the same. You might notice minor UI modifications.

  • UDM Schema 19: The Unified Data Model (UDM) and Common Data Model (CDM) are updated for schema 19. Schema 19 contains enhancements to support these features:

    • Information about the primary key or composite key for some tables in the UDM
    • New columns in journey tables for contextual identity information
    • New columns for journey information in impression tables and SMS tables
    • Usage data about the number of customer profiles that were processed for each license

October 1

 

  • Advertising Tasks Integration with Scheduled Journeys: The Scheduled journeys feature provides support for adding advertising tasks that include Facebook Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Snapchat Ads. This feature is now available in the production tenant for all customers.

  • Redesigned Interfaces in Custom Tasks for an Enhanced Experience: As a marketer, you can now use a modern and seamless interface design to execute tasks for custom marketing channels. The new design enables you to complete all the mandatory task configurations in a single window, without switching tabs. This feature is now available in the production tenant for all customers.

  • Audit Records for API Calls: Audit records that are related to API calls are now in the production tenant for all customers.

    A complete list of available actions is maintained in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. The audit actions are listed by category, and each category is stored on different tabs. Download the following .zip file to view the spreadsheet: ci360-audit-records-actions.zip.
