  • Direct Marketing Task: The updated occurrence information for a direct marketing task is now available in the production tenant for all customers.

To display the details for a direct marketing task, navigate to Orchestration > History and select Occurrence. The count information is in the Total Count column.

  • Notification Emails: The updates to the job notification emails for direct marketing tasks and segment maps are now available in the production tenant for all customers.

March 18

  • Segment Map (Release Preview): You can now search for nodes and node groups in a segment map. Use the Find item option to find nodes or node groups. This option replaces the Find node option.

  • Direct Marketing Task (Release Preview): The occurrence information for a direct marketing task now includes the total number of incoming subjects for each successful occurrence of the task prior to any output refinement. In addition, you can display the segment-level breakdown and the impact of any holdout control groups that are defined.

From the direct marketing task, navigate to Orchestration > History and select Occurrence. The count information is in the Total Count column.

  • Email Designer (Release Preview): Email designers can now build email communications in the new Email Designer, which lets you create and manage emails efficiently while taking advantage of the existing features of SAS Customer Intelligence 360, like email tracking and personalization.

Email Designer is an intuitive, simple drag-n-drop email builder that combines ease-of-use with advanced HTML features and styling.

For more information, see Edit Content in Email Designer in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: User’s Guide.

  • Server-Side Implementation: In this release, SAS Customer Intelligence introduces two REST APIs that provide more flexibility in how you use SAS Customer Intelligence 360.

    • The Content Request API enables you to deliver content to your digital properties (such as websites, mobile apps, or ATMs) from your back-end systems. This provides you with more control over content delivery and the overall user experience while still allowing you to take advantage of the analytical and targeting capabilities of SAS Customer Intelligence 360. For more information, see Content Request API in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: Programming Interfaces.
    • The Server-Side Events API enables you to send web and mobile events to SAS Customer Intelligence 360 without using the SAS tag (through the JavaScript snippet) or the SAS Mobile SDK. This REST API can be called from your eCommerce system, CMS, or other back-end systems. For more information, see Server-Side Events API in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: Programming Interfaces.

  • Notification Emails (Release Preview): The job notification emails for direct marketing tasks and segment maps include the following new information:

    • Code for the direct marketing task or the segment map
    • Total subject count of the direct marketing task occurrence

March 11

  • Audience Definitions: The "Identifiable information" column name and the ability to customize default column names in audience definitions is now in available in the production tenant for all customers.

March 5

  • Scheduled Journeys: When specifying default text for personalization values in scheduled journeys, generative AI can provide a suggestion to complete or revise the text.

IMPORTANT It is your responsibility to review any output generated with AI to ensure that the AI-generated content that you select is appropriate and accurate for its intended purpose.

March 4

  • Audit Records for Optimize Agent: Audit records that are related to executing and managing input data and scenarios for the optimize agent are now available. These actions are part of the Object Management category.

A complete list of available actions is maintained in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. The audit actions are listed by category, and each category is stored on different tabs. Download the following .zip file to view the spreadsheet: ci360-audit-records-actions.zip.

For more information, see Auditing User Activity in SAS Customer Intelligence 360 in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: Administration Guide.

  • Direct Marketing Task: The Task Execution tab on the Job Information page shows the execution and progress of direct marketing tasks. This feature is now available in the production tenant for all customers. The values in the following columns for direct marketing tasks differ from how they are used for other tasks:

    • The Progress field is set to 100% when a direct marketing task finishes, regardless of whether the task succeeds or fails.
    • The value for Total Recipients is the total number of all subject IDs across all segments in the direct marketing task, including holdout control groups.
    • The values for Recipients Processed, Recipients Completed, Recipients Failed, and Recipients Skipped are 0 because these metrics do not apply to direct marketing tasks.
