SAS Customer Intelligence 360 releases operate on a continuous delivery model that allows for a more scalable, phased approach to feature deployment. Accordingly, these release notes are updated several times a month. Check them regularly.
Unless otherwise specified, the features listed below are General Availability. Features that are released as Limited Availability and Release Preview are indicated. For more information about release levels, see Phased Releases for SAS Customer Intelligence 360.

The January 2026 release of SAS Customer Intelligence 360 includes the following new features and enhancements.
January 21
- SMS Tasks: The ability to add SMS tasks to scheduled journeys is now available in the production tenant for all customers.
- Encrypting Agent Credentials: The latest version of the agents adds the following options to encrypt cleartext credentials:
- encryptCredentialsOnStartup=true to encrypt cleartext credentials when the agent restarts
- (Optional) encryptionKeyFilePath property to specify the full path of the file that contains the 32-byte encryption key

IMPORTANT Encrypting credentials is supported on systems that run SAS 9.4M8 and later. Update to the latest version of each agent before starting this process.
January 14
- Google Display & Video 360 Connector and Task: Admin users can upload audience data to the Google Display & Video 360 (DV360) advertising platform by setting up a preconfigured connector that enables access to the DV360 APIs. The DV360 connector is used in conjunction with a DV360 task.
The ability to use the DV360 connector and task is now available in the production tenant for all customers.

- Updated Toolbar: The updates to the toolbar for these items are now available in the production tenant for all customers: Assets, Creatives, Messages, Data Views, Real-time Journeys.
- Calculated Items: The updated user interface for Calculated Items in General Settings is now available in the production tenant for all customers.
- SMS Tasks (Release Preview): You can now add SMS tasks to scheduled journeys. When you create an SMS task, select Scheduled Journey as your source type. Task scheduling, targeting, and execution is managed by the journey. For more information, see Create an SMS Task in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: User’s Guide.
