Specify a Target Audience in Marketing Plans
In a marketing plan brief, marketers can now define the target audience that they plan to reach with a specified message and through a specified digital channel. For this function to be enabled, an administrator must configure settings for one or more levels in the planning hierarchy.
When the setting for targeting is enabled for a level, a Targeting page is available on the Details tab of the planning items at that level. For example, if you enable the setting for programs, the Targeting page is available on the Details tab of each new program.
On the Targeting page, you can select one or more segments and associate a message and a task type with the selected segment.
Targeting can be configured for planning items only if you have a product license for SAS 360 Plan and SAS 360 Engage: Direct. Note that the targeting feature is currently supported only for direct marketing task types.
