The June 2026 release of SAS Customer Intelligence 360 includes the following new features and enhancements.

June 4

  • Data Sources: Data Sources is a new centralized place in General Settings where an administrator can set up and manage external data sources so that SAS Customer Intelligence 360 can access that data. Set up a data connection to connect to your external data source and then create a data source that is based on the schemas, tables or views and columns. After the data connection and data source are created, you can use that data throughout the application where supported. New features include:
    • Associate more than one table with a data connection.
    • Join tables and filter records in data sources.
    • Assign alternate column names and choose how to make data from specific columns available.
For more information, see Connecting to External Data Sources in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: Administration Guide.

  • SAS 360 Audiences and SAS 360 Audiences Premium: Existing audience connections and audience sources were moved to the new Data Sources section of General Settings. Audience connections are now data connections and audience sources are now data sources.

For more information, see Connecting to External Data Sources in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: Administration Guide.
    • Migration for all regions will be complete before typical business hours open on June 4.
    • Audience definitions are not part of this move.

June 3

  • Scheduled Journeys (Release Preview): Drop and success conditions in scheduled journeys can now include an audience. Audiences can designate a group of contacts to fulfill a drop or success condition. You can use an audience alongside events.

For more information, see Set Up Engagement Metrics in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: User’s Guide and Configure Drop Conditions in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: User’s Guide.

  • Scheduled Journeys (Release Preview): If needed, you can now delete an audience that is part of a scheduled journey that has completed.

  • SMS Tasks: When adding a message to an SMS task, generative AI can suggest alternate messages.

IMPORTANT It is your responsibility to review any output generated with AI to ensure that the AI-generated content that you select is appropriate and accurate for its intended purpose.

  • Segment Nodes and Segment Maps (Release Preview): The user interface for segments has been updated to improve the user experience. The following features are changed or new:
    • Ability to change the icon and the color of the icon for grouped nodes
    • Ability to add notes to a segment map
In addition, the sort tab for prioritize, split, map, and limit nodes has been enhanced so that users can specify multiple sorting criteria, rearrange the order of the criteria, and specify the direction of the sort. The first criteria that you specify is the primary sort order.

  • Segment Maps: The ability to save a segment map in Ready or Designing state even if the map contains incomplete nodes is now available in the production tenant for all customers.
