What's New for CI360 in January 2024

SAS Customer Intelligence 360 releases operate on a continuous delivery model that allows for a more scalable, phased approach to feature deployment. Accordingly, these release notes are updated several times a month. Check them regularly.

 

Unless otherwise specified, the features listed below are General Availability. Features that are released as Limited Availability and Release Preview are indicated. For more information about release levels, see Phased Releases for SAS Customer Intelligence 360. Contact your SAS representative if you have questions about a feature’s availability. For a full list of new features in SAS Customer Intelligence 360, see What's New.

The January 2024 release of SAS Customer Intelligence 360 includes the following new features and enhancements.

 

Features released on January 31:

 

  • Schema 14 for the Unified Data Model: SAS Customer Intelligence 360 now includes updates to the Unified Data Model (UDM) for schema 14. Schema 14 contains enhancements to support these features:
     
    • Audience membership
    • Support for A/B testing of email tasks
    • Improvements in data collection for cart events, checkout events, and purchase events

  • Customize A/B Test Settings for Tasks (Release Preview): For web A/B tasks, web MVT tasks, and mobile A/B tasks you can now specify test settings for each task. You can customize values for Confidence interval and thresholdLift, and Minimum detectable difference without changing the application defaults that are specified in General Settings -> Test. You can also restore the settings to the application defaults defined in the General Settings -> Test page.

  • Create Connectors from Connections Dashboard: The ability to create a connector from the Connections Dashboard is now available in the production tenant for all customers.

  • Home Page: The updates to the I Want ToMy Recently Modified Items, and Scheduled Items widgets are now available in the production tenant for all customers.

  • Audit Records for Audiences (Release Preview): Audit records that are related to audiences are now available from the Marketing Administration API. These actions are part of the Security category.

    A complete list of actions is maintained in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. The audit actions are listed by category, and each category is stored on different tabs. Download the following .zip file to view the spreadsheet: ci360-audit-records-actions.zip.

Features released on January 24:

 

  • Home Page (Release Preview): A new Audiences action is added to the I Want To widget on the Home page. This addition enables you to quickly create an audience.

    The My Recently Modified Items widget now displays whether an item is locked.

    Filtering in the Scheduled Items widget has been improved. For example, you can now filter for items that are not recurring.

  • Migrate Communication Nodes from SAS Marketing Automation: The ability to create direct marketing tasks in SAS Customer Intelligence 360 by using communication nodes that have been exported from SAS Marketing Automation is now available in the production tenant for all customers.

  • Create Connectors from Connections Dashboard (Release Preview): Administrators can now create an out-of-the-box connector or a custom connector from the Connections Dashboard.

Feature released on January 4:

 

  • SDK Flutter Cookbook: Updated SAS Customer Intelligence 360 Mobile SDK Integration with a Flutter App: Cookbook.

Features released on January 3:

 

  • Access Points UI in General Settings: The updates to the user interface for General Settings>Access Points are now available in the production tenant for all customers.

  • Audit Records for Plan: Audit records that are related to Plan permissions and approvals are now available in the production tenant for all customers.
