The July 2024 release of SAS Customer Intelligence 360 includes the following new features and enhancements.

For a review of the features that were released in July 2024, see the Customer Guide for August 2024.

Features released on July 31:

  • Schema 16 for the Unified Data Model and Common Data Model: SAS Customer Intelligence 360 includes updates to the Unified Data Model (UDM) and Common Data Model (CDM) for schema 16.

Schema 16 contains enhancements to support these features:

    • The CDM is updated with support for audiences, contextual identities, and time zone information for contact events.
    • The UDM is updated with support for variants that are used in an A/B task, contextual identities, and miscellaneous updates to column lengths for longer values.

  • General Settings: The General Settings page now includes a search filter. This filter enables you to search for settings based on specific terms.

Feature released on July 17:

  • Creating and Editing Exports (Release Preview): The latest release of SAS Customer Intelligence 360 provides the ability for customers to choose whether exports can be modified in direct marketing tasks and segment maps. In addition, the introduction of the Export Content Designer role enables customers to decide which of their users can edit the exports or create custom exports in direct marketing tasks and segment maps.

In General Settings, you can specify that an export can be edited. Navigate to General Settings and select Content Delivery > Export Templates. Open an export template and then enable the Allow the export settings to be edited in the task or export node option. By default, all new and existing export templates are enabled for editing in direct marketing tasks and segment maps.

In addition, users who are assigned the new Export Content Designer role in combination with the Direct Marketing Designer or the Segment Designer roles can edit exports for a direct marketing task or a segment map if the export template is marked as editable. Users who are assigned this combination of roles can also create custom exports in a direct marketing task or in a segment map. Users who are assigned Super Admin, Engage Super User, or Engage Direct Admin roles have the same export creation and editing capabilities.
