The August 2024 release of SAS Customer Intelligence 360 includes the following new features and enhancements.
Features released on August 21:
Email Unsubscribe Options (Limited Availability): As part of the opt-out improvements to SAS Customer Intelligence 360, SAS is introducing the hybrid option as an additional two-step opt-out solution for email communications.
With the hybrid feature, you can take advantage of a generic confirmation page that is hosted by SAS but create and host a custom, branded goodbye page that recipients see after they unsubscribe. For more information, see Using a Two-step Opt-out Solution in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: Administration Guide.
Settings for Adding Tasks and Activities in Planning Items (Release Preview): When you configure settings for each planning level in the marketing hierarchy, you now have the ability to allow or restrict users from adding tasks and activities to planning items. You can enable or disable the association of tasks or activities at each level of planning items. For more information, see Edit and Configure a Marketing Hierarchy in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: Administration Guide.
In General Settings, you can specify that an export can be edited. Navigate to General Settings and select Content Delivery > Export Templates. Open an export template and then enable the Allow the export settings to be edited in the task or export node option. By default, all new and existing export templates are enabled for editing in direct marketing tasks and segment maps.
In addition, users who are assigned the new Export Content Designer role in combination with the Direct Marketing Designer or the Segment Designer roles can edit exports for a direct marketing task or a segment map if the export template is marked as editable. Users who are assigned this combination of roles can also create custom exports in a direct marketing task or in a segment map. Users who are assigned Super Admin, Engage Super User, or Engage Direct Admin roles have the same export creation and editing capabilities.
