The September 2024 release of SAS Customer Intelligence 360 includes the following new features and enhancements.
Features released on September 25:
- Insights: The latest version of SAS Customer Intelligence 360 enables you to customize the data that you export from reports. For example, when you hide a column in a report, the column is not exported. The change affects exports for global task reports that are available from the Insights option in the navigation bar and task-specific reports.
- Email Unsubscribe Options: As part of the opt-out improvements to SAS Customer Intelligence 360, SAS has been rolling out two-step solutions over the recent releases.
Now, all of the two-step solutions are generally available:
- Generic opt-out solution: SAS hosts non-branded HTML pages that are used for the confirmation and goodbye pages.
- Customer-branded solution: you create and host your own customized HTML for confirmation and goodbye pages. You also host custom JavaScript code that sends the opt-out request back to SAS Customer Intelligence 360 and can collect additional information about the recipient.
- Hybrid solution: you can take advantage of a generic confirmation page that is hosted by SAS but create and host a custom, branded goodbye page that recipients see after they unsubscribe.
For more information, see Using a Two-Step Opt-Out Solution in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: Administration Guide.
Features released on September 11:
- Ability to View the Date and Time of an Attachment: The ability to view the date and time when an attachment was added to a planning item, invoice, commitment, or a workflow task is now available in the production tenant for all customers.
- Generate Email Subjects with AI: The ability to use generative AI (GenAI) to suggest alternative subject lines for your emails is now available in the production tenant for all customers. GenAI can help you refine your email subject line by giving you alternatives based on the original subject line that you enter. For more information, see GenAI Best Practices for Generating Subjects , Specifying Information for Email Header Fields (Step 2) , and Test Email Subject Lines (Step 2).
IMPORTANT It is your responsibility to review any output generated with AI to ensure that the AI-generated content that you select is appropriate and accurate for its intended purpose.
- Enable Generative AI Features: The ability to enable generative AI features for your tenant is now available in the production tenant for all customers. Navigate to General Settings> Generative AI to enable GenAI features. This is disabled by default. For more information, see Enable Generative AI in SAS Customer Intelligence 360: Administration Guide.
Note: By enabling GenAI for your organization, you acknowledge and agree that the terms found at SAS Generative AI Terms apply to your organization's use of SAS Customer Intelligence 360.
- Insights: The new features for global task reports from the Insights option in the navigation bar and for task-specific reports within a task are now available in the production tenant for all customers.
For global task and task-specific insights, you can manage the columns in the report tables. Your settings are stored and remembered during subsequent visits to the report.
- To hide a column, click Options next to a column title for a table and select Hide column. You can hide all but the first column in a table.
- To reorder, add, or hide columns, click Options next to a column title for a table and select Manage columns.
Note: This option is available for non-hierarchical (non-expandable) tables only.
For the global email reports that are available from the Insights option in the navigation bar, click the name of an email task in a table in a report to open the task.
