What's New for CI360 in January 2025

SAS Customer Intelligence 360 releases operate on a continuous delivery model that allows for a more scalable, phased approach to feature deployment. Accordingly, these release notes are updated several times a month. Check them regularly.

 

Unless otherwise specified, the features listed below are General Availability. Features that are released as Limited Availability and Release Preview are indicated. For more information about release levels, see Phased Releases for SAS Customer Intelligence 360.

 

Access to the features listed here depends on your role, license, and the release phase. Contact your SAS representative if you have questions about a feature’s availability. For a full list of new features in SAS Customer Intelligence 360, see What's New.

 

The January 2025 release of SAS Customer Intelligence 360 includes the following new features and enhancements.

 

Features released on January 29:

 

  • Schema 17 for the Unified Data Model and Common Data Model: SAS Customer Intelligence 360 includes updates to the Unified Data Model (UDM) for schema 17. Schema 17 contains enhancements to support these features:

    • New tables to support journeys
    • New tables to support SMS communications
    • Updated category values to include the Foundations license
    • Additional columns for events and journeys to enhance cross-table integration

  • New Match Criterion for Matching Google Ads Audience Data: When you create a Google Ads task and match your audience data with Google Ads, you can now select mobile device ID as a match criterion and assign an attribute based on your selected data source. The new match criterion is available in the production tenant for all customers.

  • SSO Enhancements for Google Ads Connector Integrations: Support for single sign-on (SSO) authentication of Google Ads connectors and tasks is now available in the production tenant for all customers. This enhancement enables seamless authentication to your Google Ads accounts from within the application.

  • Updates to the Calendar View for Plans: The new Gantt view for the planning items is now available in the production tenant for all customers.

    The ability to specify a custom date range and the ability to specify settings to customize the time span for displaying planning items are no longer supported.

  • Updates to Plans: Enhancements to the Plans List view and minor updates to the search and filter features are now available in the production tenant for all customers.

    The ability to edit budgets from the Plans List view is no longer supported.

  • Engage Optimize (Release Preview): The user interface for Optimization scenarios has been updated to improve the user experience. The functionality remains the same. You might notice minor UI modifications.

     

  • Engage Optimize: The updates to the user interface for Optimization input data are now available in the production tenant for all customers.

 

Features released on January 15:

 

  • Audience Data Source Added: The ability to create Amazon Redshift Audience Connections is now available in the production tenant for all customers.

  • Engage Optimize (Release Preview): The user interface for Optimization input data has been updated to improve the user experience. The functionality remains the same. You might notice minor UI modifications.
