SAS Customer Intelligence 360 releases operate on a continuous delivery model that allows for a more scalable, phased approach to feature deployment. Accordingly, these release notes are updated several times a month. Check them regularly.
Unless otherwise specified, the features listed below are General Availability. Features that are released as Limited Availability and Release Preview are indicated. The February 2024 release of SAS Customer Intelligence 360 includes the following new features and enhancements.
Features released on February 28:
- Email A/B Test Updates: Updates to A/B subject line testing are available for bulk email tasks. You can now view the recommended sample size for your test and customize the test settings to change the sample size. You can customize the test duration, baseline conversion rate, confidence interval and threshold, lift, and minimum detectable difference values for each task. You can also restore the confidence interval and threshold, lift, and minimum detectable difference to the application defaults defined in the General Settings>Test page.
In addition, the Insights>A/B Test Performance page contains more metrics to help you track the performance of the test.
(SAS 360 Engage: Email)
- Email Subject Line Testing: Subject line testing for bulk emails is now available in the production tenant for all customers. you can use A/B testing to compare the performance of two subject lines. The A/B test results can improve the success of your email campaigns by providing you with insight on how your subject lines impact conversions.

- Update to Global Insights User Interface: The updates to the user interface for the Insights tab in the navigation bar is now available in the production tenant for all customers. The user interface has been updated to improve the user experience. The functionality remains the same. You might notice minor UI modifications.

- Activity Map Improvements: Improvements to activity maps are now available in the production tenant for all customers.

- Audit Records for Mobile Applications: Audit records that are related to changes in credentials for mobile applications are now available in the production tenant for all customers. These records can be downloaded from the Marketing Administration API. These actions are part of the Security category.

- Select Inbound or Outbound Connector Type: The ability to select the connector type as inbound or outbound is now available in the production tenant for all customers.

- Bulk Custom Task Types: The ability to create a custom task type and a task instance for sending bulk customer data is now available in the production tenant for all customers.

- Activity Map Improvements (Release Preview): Merge tags can now use the event attributes from the trigger event in an activity map. You no longer need to add the same trigger event on the Targeting tab of a task and in the activity map that contains the task.

- Audit Records for Mobile Applications (Release Preview): Audit records that are related to changes in credentials for mobile applications are now available from the Marketing Administration API. These actions are part of the Security category.

- Bulk Custom Task Types (Release Preview): With the release of bulk custom task types, you can create a custom task instance for sending bulk data. A custom task type that is associated with a custom connector provides more flexibility and enables effective integrations with third-party applications.

- Audit Records for Audiences: Audit records that are related to audiences are now available in the production tenant for all customers. These records can be downloaded with the Marketing Administration API. These actions are part of the Security category.

- Customize A/B Test Settings for Tasks: For web A/B tasks, web MVT tasks, and mobile A/B tasks you can now specify test settings for each task in the production tenant. You can customize values for Confidence interval and threshold, Lift, and Minimum detectable difference without changing the application defaults that are specified in General Settings > Test. You can also restore the settings to the application defaults defined in the General Settings > Test page.
