Hello All,    We are planning to perform SAS 9.4 installation with IQ/OQ/PQ. Can someone please help to guide how these processes works in pharmacy/clinical world? Any documentations/references that we can go through?    I have read some articles (https://www.mastercontrol.com/gxp-lifeline/cinical_trials_0108/) which gave high level information but really want to understand from technical stand point, like in what sequence it happens and how we can accomplish it.    Any help would be appreciated. Hello all, We have all in one aws SAS server up and running. We like to upgrade SAS server from OS perspective. Do we have to buy new license key or sas can provide new soe to use to install sas on new OS machine, we shut down old server and continue working on new one? Thanks! ... View more

Hello All,  We have SAS 9.4 M7 installed on Linux 8.4. This is all-in-one machine. Installation and configuration completed successfully. however, when i try starting sas services its showing below message.    ./sas.servers start starting sas servers  starting sas web infrastructure data server  SAS Metadata Server 1 is NOT up the remaining SAS servers will not be started as a result   However, when i do status it shows both SAS WIP data server and metadata server are up. one thing i am not sure is why its starting sas WIP data server prior to metadata server    Also, if i starts all services (metadata, wip data server, obj. spawner, dip runner, JMS broker. cache locator, web server, web app server, evm....) individually, everything starts fine... ... We are using SAS VA 7.5 (non-distributed) and have autoload in place to load the table on Linux. Smaller tables are loading fine vs large tables having "Insufficient resources to perform the operation" + "sas system stopped processing this step because of insufficient memory" error.    SAS VA Linux machine has total of 94 gb RAM    workspaceserver_usermods.sh for SASAppVA server has  USERMODS_OPTIONS="-memsize 0 -cpucount ACTUAL"   va.AuditingEnabled is "false" for Visual Analytics 7.5 definition underneath "SAS Application Infrastructure" Advance settings.    From autoload job log,  When it complains about insufficient resource for ~4 gb table, details is as below,    real time 5.71 sec user cpu time 1.51 sec system cpu time .59 sec memory 6266.09k OS memory 20648.00k page fault 0 page reclaims 2903 page swaps 0 Vol. context switches 1133 Invol. context switches 1  block input operations 0 block output operations 240   ...
