We are installing SAS 9.4 M8 on Linux rhel on AWS. We will have grid environment with platform suite for SAS. Do we must have to disabled selinux for forever and run environment that way? Or we can play around this selinux rules?
I suggest you search the SAS Support site for references to SELinux (Security-Enhanced Linux). If you do you will find this note: https://support.sas.com/kb/45/384.html
It states that SAS only supports SELinux in PERMISSIVE or DISABLED modes.
The SAS Users Group for Administrators (SUGA) is open to all SAS administrators and architects who install, update, manage or maintain a SAS deployment.
