I found your account in our system and see that Pearson has refunded your payment for your first exam and that you have a second exam scheduled for this afternoon. As you are testing with onVUE remote proctoring, there may be an issue with the local network that is interfering with the lab. I'll reach out to you directly to discuss further.

Click into "SAS Certified Advanced Analytics Professional Using SAS 9" and that is where the Advanced Predictive Modeling is listed. The navigation headings here have a limited number of spaces in the web software, so we can't list all of the credentials at the top level. Sorry about that. We did some rearranging this year as new credentials were introduced. As compared to last year at this time, the "Data Science" heading didn't exist at all, and the credentials that you are mentioning here were listed under the "Advanced Analytics" heading. The "Advanced Analytics Professional" and its subcomponents ('Advanced Predictive Modeling' and 'Text Analytics, Time Series, Experimentation, and Optimization') have been around since 2016. 1) The Advanced Predictive Modeling credential is a subcomponent of the Advanced Analytics Professional, which is listed under the Data Science Section. I think this answers your third question too. 2) Advanced Predictive Modeling is not the same as the Predictive Modeling Using Enterprise Miner. They are different credentials.

I'm not really in a position to comment on the requirements that Pearson has for the rooms. I recommend consulting their resources here: SAS OnVUE exam information // Pearson VUE and then if you have further questions, you can ask Pearson via the contact information at: SAS certification testing with Pearson VUE. If uncertain, we would recommend going to a Pearson VUE test center or finding a location with minimal decoration.

Only the older versions of the courses are retiring. The current versions of the course remain available with no plans to discontinue either course, but they will continue to be updated over time. The links to training from the certification page for this credential continue to provide access to current training (designated as Viya2023.12).

Could you link to where it says 2 IDs? We recently changed the requirement for the second ID. Now it is just 1 government issues photo ID for SAS exams.

Before you enter the exam itself, there is a page that describes how to acquire the input files, depending on which platform you are using to write your SAS code. Go back to the start of the eLearning and read the introduction material carefully.

It is correct that it is only a single version of the exam. You will see the same questions upon repeated attempts. This is why we encourage the use of the practice exam as a final check after you have completed your preparation, study, and practice for the exam rather than earlier in the process. Relying on the practice exam as preparation will cause you to 'overfit' your prep towards the specific questions on the practice exam and not cover all topics on the A00-232 Exam Content Guide. We also strongly caution against using unauthorized third party 'practice' exams. They are fraught with errors and often are the same practice exam that we provide for free, but put behind a pay-wall.

We would not recommend this as a strategy due to time constraints. 1) The multiple-choice questions are designed to be answerable with all of the information given for the question. 2) The lab is not directly available during the MC questions, meaning you would need to recall the question before returning to the lab.

Hi, Any of the programming certifications would be fine. The Associate does not have a lab and is UI independent. Base Specialist and Advanced Professional are lab based, but we provide access to Display Manager, EG 7, EG 8, and SAS Studio within the exam. You could also consider some of the statistical credentials that are independent of the UI, such as the Statistical Business Analyst. The recommended (training is not required) training associated with these credentials can be completed with EG 7.

Yes, I would say a 44/67 would warrant rescheduling that exam a bit further out, especially if you are struggling with the lab activities. Keep reviewing the topics of the content guide until you are comfortable with all of them.
