@John_d_WiseGuy , as @deleted_user has mentioned in his post, TERMSTR=CRLF in filename statement has helped me. Thanks for asking this question.

@sassy_seb Check out my export macro. You can get the latest version using my REDCap survey in the previous comments or reading my paper(s) on LexJansen.com by searching "REDCap Your SAS Friend". The most recent one should be listed first. To answer your question more pointedly - I've circumvented those issues by first downloading the data dictionary via API and using it to define features instead of the code REDCap provides as an export option. This is even more important with the use of style characters in values now. I will also be presenting new content on REDCap at the SESUG Conference in Bethesda September 22-24th (2024). Registration is still open - as is call for content. https://sesug.org/SESUG2024/index.php

"Hello, yes, those are old and discontinuous responses even though the topic is very current. I need to start working on that subject. I usually process data for users and then perform Statistical Disclosure Control using a method simpler than 'local suppression', which works well for tables. Now I need to apply Statistical Disclosure Control to databases, and I'm not sure which software or methods to use. Any ideas?"

I like the concept of not using local slang, idiom, colloquialisms, or figurative language since it is really weird for international users.

The last answer posted by sefri worked for me.
It seems like you have to change the order completely for EG to save your changes.
I have made minor changes to the order before with inconsistent results.
sefri's answer is a simple (yet strange) fix for this.

@pransh wrote: hi how did u solve the second question?
You are resurrecting a thread that is very old, more than 12 years old. You would be better off starting your own question. The original poster did not provide any example data so no solution is actually possible, just general guidelines.
Be prepared to provide example data in the form of a data step or reference use of one of the SAS supplied data sets like SASHELP.CLASS.
Ask your questions in terms of the data you reference.
