Hello, First, is this upgrade worthed, I saw all the new features(admin, eg 7.1 and all) but with 250+ users an upgrade is not always a smooth drive ? Second, is the configuration of IWA for the SAS portal easier to configure(we haven't sucessfully implement it with our current version) ? I have now some user asking about EG 7.1, is it me or it is difficult to download EG or AMO only, we have to go through the "depot". Thanks in advance for your thought on this subject. Laurent

Something, like MumSquared, suggested works, i do it sometimes but it could be a little slow because the server has to go througth the network to your computer. You have to refer to the default shared folder(c$) on your computer: libname myData "//MachineNetworkName/c$/Folders/MyDataFolder

Hello, As I was work with SAS TS, I found what was the problem, in June IT dept changed the unc path(where is My SAS File directory). The AMOOptions.xml file is created the first time we use AMO... the file was created before the unc path change... The quick way to correct this is to delete the file and AMO will recreate it or edit the file to change the unc path. Hope this help!

Hi Thanks for your answer. It runs fine in EG, it's just in Excel, Word and Powerpoint, I cannot try it on the Web platform, it is not functioning right now(it's another story!). I opened a track given a sceenshot of the status window and the log.

Hello, I wonder if anyone had this problem, I execute a report from Excel, it's a proc print from a sashelp table, something simple to test my problem. The stored proc execute, the log is fine no error, but the status window indicate that the report failed and nothing show up on my sheet... Thanks! Laurent

Great news... Yes... new... old feature...:smileylaugh: this will ease the pain of some of my users who are still mourning their old SAS... Is there an easy download, like a hotfix or do we have to go through all the process... I guess, for that feature, I'm ready to go through all the process both with SAS and our inside policy, different level of testing, approval from IT, install guide, support for the install guy(yes after 20 years I don't get it) and prepare a plan on how to deploy the new version (200+ users). Thanks!

Hello, You have to define a prompt in the prompt manager. There is a "file or directory" type prompt that will do what you need. The prompt create a macro variable that you can use in your program. The macro variable have the same name has your defined prompt. You have to add your prompt in the program properties.

Just a follow up, I didn't some more testing and when the stored proc is called from Excel(Ms-Office Addin), the pdf file is produce and the data is openned in Excel as well.... the user will then know that the report is completed. I guess I was too quick to ask, Sorry.

Hello, I have a stored proc that produce pdf files trought ods, is there a way to indicate to users that the stored proc is finished. I was thinking of a pop-up window, I added the "Message prompt" to my process flow and created my stored proc, this task(Message prompt) cannot be included in a SAS program, so that doesn't work. Any sugestion ? Thanks ! Laurent
