Hi,

in the SAS practise exam there is the question (No. 61)

"A platform administrator needs to associate a library with an application server.
What permission level on the application server will the platform administrator need for this task?
a. CM
b. WM
c. RMLE
d. WMM"

Can anyone tell me, what "RMLE" stands for?

Thanks

Markus

Hello!

Neither have I. Only here and here and only in the form of R-MLE ("Read perm when accessed through the metadata lib engine").

Cheers

Might be nothing.  It's a multiple choice test.  It's possible RMLE is just a fake abbreviation they added as an option / wrong answer.

Hello there!

Could it be "RMLE indicates that the Read permission is required only if data is accessed through the metadata LIBNAME engine"? Like mentioned in the SAS® 9.2 Intelligence Platform Security Administration Guide ... would fit the other abbreviations ...

Cheers

Hi @fja, maybe. But I haven't seen other abbreviations in this context ending with LE. Have you?

Best

When I go to https://documentation.sas.com/doc/en/bicdc/9.4/biwlcm/home.htm, the start page for 9.4 Administration Help I get a dozen hits when searching for CM, 20+ when searching for WM or WMM. 0 when searching for RMLE. So I suspect that @Quentin may be onto something and an option not related to Administration or non-existent may have been supplied.
