Since completing a Master's Course at the Department of Operational Research (now the Department of Management Science) at the University of Lancaster in England in 1990, I have been a devoted Operational Researcher. With this educational background, I have gained experience in various areas of the Financial Services sector, including Treasury, Capital Markets, Planning and Control, and Risk Management. Throughout my career, I have worked both in operational roles within organizations and as a consultant.
The common thread running through my work has been a focus on providing quantitative decision support, particularly through the use of modeling (which is why I have a strong affinity for SAS) and fostering the growth and development of individuals.
Currently I am working as Team Lead Treasury & Portfolio Management for EY ifb in Germany. In this role, my main areas of focus are SAS Risk Solutions and Scenario Planning. Additionally, I assist and mentor colleagues, both new and experienced, in their learning journeys with SAS. I genuinely appreciate the comprehensive SAS learning system.
