Hello M,   Have you considered using a filter so that you only need one crosstable and graph on the screen?  You could use a few different types of controls that might allow the user to choose whether they want to look at the region, customer type, etc.  This could save you a lot of screen real estate and simplify the user interaction.  Do you need the multiple graphs/cross tables side by side or vertical for comparison purposes?    Mike ... Hi LeenVe,   It's not the most elegant way, but if you will not be changing the aggregation in the graph, you could rename the input you are using for the Y axis to include the words MAX in it.  For this example I simply created a duplicate value for what I wanted on the Y-Axis and added MAX at the end of the name.  If you remove the label for the Y axis, it will still be able to be seen when you click on the data point.   Hope this helps,   Mike ... Hello trt,   I have been thinking about this one since you posted it yesterday.  Despite the attempts to created a calculated or aggregated field to achieve this, I was not able to.   That being said, have you tried creating a new column in Data Query using SQL?  I am definitely not the one to talk to about SQL expressions (as much as I woud like to learn), but it does give you an option to use the data from the existing table to calculate a new item there.  To add the column, press the plus bar on the last column number and then name it.  You can then press the SQL expression symbol and the pop up will allow you to create an expression.  It does have the option to click on functions to create it, but my understanding is that it will work by typing in the code, if you have that expertise.   Hope this helps.  I am a little stuck on doing this in Report Designer.   Mike     ... Hello everyone,   Like Jan, I also search for inspiration when stuck on how to display certain items.  Wouldn't it be interesting if we could have a portfolio attached to our user names that individuals could search through based on the category the designer puts it under?  It could be similar to the demo Michelle referred to, so no real data would be able to captured by the viewer, but it would be a good chance for people to show their skills.   Maybe they could even get likes on portfolio items?  It might turn the forum from mostly problem solving to innovative collaboration...   Some of the issues a lot of the new VA designers come across is they do not necessarily have the SAS programming background, so their experience with creating graphs and charts comes from other software that might not have the same interface or customization that SAS offers.  These screenshot type samples help to let users know what is possible.   Thanks,   Mike ... Hi saspert, Try creating a calculated item.  In the operators section look for date.  There should be one that says month.  That will return the number of the month.  Don't forget, if your data is coming in with a time, you will need to use the DatePart operator as well. Mike ... View more

Hi saspert, I had not tried this before, but it looks like you can.  At first I right click in side of the container, but you only get the duplicate graph option.  What I found is that after you right click the first time, you can right click a little closer to the top line of the container and an option comes up to Duplicate Stack Container.  It looks like it pulled in all my test graphs ok.  Just remember, if you see the duplicate graph, it still thinks you are inside of the container.  Move as close to the line as possible.  It took me a few times for it to work. ... Hi saspert, I think I might not fully understand the question.  I created a horizontal container and put two graphs in it, and then a stacked container below with three graphs.  Just to be safe, I added a custom graph to the stacked container.  I did not have any issues.  I have noticed that you have to be extra careful where you drop the graphs into the container.  A solid green line vs the green box will indicate it is in the container. I will try to paste a screen shot in the reply, but I know the spam filters sometimes pull them out.  Please let me know if this does not help.  I might not be understanding the issue fully.
