As you prepare to take the SAS Visual Analytics exam, we've got some extra pointers for you!
First, let's talk about the Visual Analytics software that you use to practice your skills. There are different versions/flavors of SAS Visual Analytics software out there these days (VA on SAS 9.4, VA on SAS Viya) but it doesn't matter when it comes to your exam preparation. You can practice with any of them; they are all sufficient for the current version of the exam.
Next, did you know the full-length practice exam is available for free? A recent in-house analysis shows that using the practice exam ahead of your actual exam can increase your chance of passing, and this is especially true for the VA exam. But don't use it too early in your preparation, or you risk (to steal a term from data science) overfitting your preparation to the practice exam. After you have completed your preparation via training and experience with the software, use the practice exam as a final check to ensure you have covered all of the relevant topics and to identify areas that you may have missed.
