SAS Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning
Are you looking to maximize the overall long-term reward achieved by a complex sequence of decisions? Then check out Reinforcement Learning (RL) in this release of SAS Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning.
RL has famously been used to learn to play games such as checkers, backgammon, Othello, and most recently land a lunar-lander in OpenAIGYM. SAS can now use real time data to train a Deep-Q Network where previously only a historical (or batch) data set could be used. Not just for fun and games anymore, RL can be used in robotics, process control, health care, trading, finance and much more.
Python users rejoice... as you are now one step closer to operationalizing your analytics models for the real world! In SAS Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning, Python models can now be packaged and registered in Model Studio to take full advantage of model management, thus streamlining model governance, monitoring, and deployment.

SAS Visual Analytics
Our customers love Automated Explanation and Automated Prediction capabilities in SAS Visual Analytics to help users better understand and automate the discovery process. Customers have asked for these augmented analytic capabilities in more languages, so we’ve added several new languages over the last couple releases: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Thai, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese.
Also new this month, you can increase productivity and style consistency across your SAS Visual Analytics reports by creating custom page templates. Page templates can be saved with or without data.
