The only work around I have found for this is to have report sent to myself and then have an email rule that forwards automatically to the other non-VIYA recipients. Not totally in VIYA but works well.

Dear CM experts, we are having some issues getting the "new" templates of the campaigns. Could you please give us some tips on how could we track/solve the issue. Here is the detailed description of the problem: 1) We can see all the "old" templates in this screen but the "new" are not appearing; 2) We have a .sas to get the templates (screenshot below) and, if we execute the code inside, we are getting the new templates, so maybe this Get_Template_List.sas is not being correctly referenced / parameterized? Could you please let me know how to parameterize the drop-down in the screenshot above to use this file and get the templates? Your help would me much appreciated. All the best, Rodrigo

At my client i'm experiencing the following. Last weeks the %memory usage was climbing towards the limit of 80%. Though, there was not really a lot more data being loaded. This weekend there was a patch on our linux server, so there was a reboot and our script which loads all data from hadoop to LASR finished and now we are only at 18%. What is a possible explanation?

Hi Sam, thank you for the good news regarding the 8.5 version! I also suspected that this should had already been solved by SAS on recent releases. Finally, I've discovered that I would need the calculation on the data model for other reasons (e.g. drill-through to the detail ...) and I've calculated YTD on the data preparation step. Hello experts, after some investigation, I could not find out the reason (and solution) of this annoying behavior of the displaying crosstab subtotals in VA 7.4. While in edit mode, the crosstab totals are displayed correctly with a height which I consider right. When I change to view mode the crosstab height (of only subtotals) increase to double without any apparent reason and it doesn't look good as the height of the subtotal will be 2x the height of the other rows (screenshot). A drop-down list is a single-selection prompt, so I am unclear on what you are asking when you say you want to replace "Clear Filter" with "All." Can you please clarify?

Hi Madelyn, we don't have any error. We've checked the query-server-error.log and the information-retrieval-studio-server.log files. However, we manage to solve the problem. It was related with the licence. We missed to apply the command: "/opt/sas/sasbin/SASDeploymentManager/9.4/sasadm.sh -console" Thank you for your answer. Rodrigo

Button Bars are still useful to display dynamic category values which is not possible in 7.4

Hello Rodrigo, Moving Average is an aggregated operator and it doesn't really work unless it is assigned to a visual like a crosstab or graph. As dynamic text in a Text object, there is no aggregation context to work with. (Arguably, you should not be able to assign aggregated measures as dynamic text.) In general, making a dynamic date selection based on the most recent date can be tricky. I seem to understand it is a limitation of how LASR and now CAS handle date values, but it is frustrating. Hopefully someone can help you find a good workaround. Sam

Hello, In VA 7.4 we have the same "problem" regarding renaming the folders/collections? I cannot see the option to rename or move a folder/collection in the VA interface. Ok, I still can manage to do it in the Management Console. But what can I say to the users as they need to manage there personal folders/collections? Thank you in advance, Rodrigo

Work around: Add a Text Input-control to your report. Create a parameter on this Text input (say Parameter1). Add a filter to your Dropdown-object like this: ( LowerCase('ElementName'n) Contains LowerCase('Parameter1'p) ) As the user inputs text in the Text Input-control, the possible choises in the DropDown is limited to those elements that contains the inputted text. The full list of elements is showed in the Drop Down when the TextInput is empty.
