Hi,   I had the same problem with treemaps and geo region map. While for treemaps, it is possible to remove the variable assigned to colour, under Role; for the geo region map, the colour Role has to have an assigned variable. Is there any way around this? It is possible to turn off the warning message for this particular graph? I also thought that if I could customized the geo region map, and untick the colour Role for required, it would be possible. hi, Do you have any progress in financial calculations?   I have gone around and have a formula for the calculations by using cumulative period up to a date. However, I would like to have this date as a variable and not as an input. Is there a way to transform a variable date, category into date?! look at the error message The formula works if I change the 2nd yellow as '20Jun2016'd, but ideally, if I create some variables as date, I would like to include them in the formula. Hi Teri,   Thank you for the comprehensive reply.  Your final conclusion was what I expected (and feared the most).   However, there was a strange behaviour when you ticked All Other, the data was shown almost correctly (it failed for Jan2016 calculations for previous year).   And using your final bar graph example, do you have any idea how to display only the 2016 and 2017 bar? I mean ideally, I just want to show the most current data and against the previous year (as a benchmark). If I use filter, this will not work.   And could you expand on you Option 1. Would this require extra variables (like items_previous year) to be added to my data? Option 1 Add the parallel period aggregated measure to the preparation of data before your load it into Visual Analytics.  This may not be possible on detailed data and may require you to create a summary table in order for you to properly calculate your aggregated parallel measure.    thank you so much fort he help! ... yes, I understood that the week format wasn't available. My question was if there was a away to make it available.   In previous conversations, this was as far as I got   "let me start with the second part of your email where you ask "... is there away to customize the format of day as date aside from the options shown available?". Aside from the provided formats in VA it is possible to define your own formats and this is covered in a SAS note available at http://support.sas.com/kb/47/100.html.   As far as the other part of your question is concerned, using the format you design yourself may be the answer. As stated in the User Guide http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/vaug/68648/HTML/default/viewer.htm#n1lxnqfip132can1hdzuerib7i76.htm the periodic item is supported only where data items with a format that specifies the year are available."   I'm not sure if this will work as I haven't used it.   Regards,   Rita ... Hi anna, i have used Rank exactly by following the instructions of SAS Teri Patsilaras bog. However, in my case, because I'm using parallelperiod calculations, the numbers changes and the option doesn't work. Any idea, how can I restrict the window to b displayed on my graph (aside from doing it manually).   Here is the full graph: I would like to display only for month after Jan 2016.   When using a Rank option to show the last 13 months (below). Values are correct, except that it includes all the Other and extremely high values for the red bar in Jan 2016.   when I unticketed the All Other, this was the output: Now, I do not know where the other values in red have gone.
