Hi John. I see the same sort of thing... trying to look for some documentation on this. I however, I could assign in SMC and DIS (4.21) and register datasets there.... My two Cents (usual caveat) Before deploying do you see the signon statements.... If So      These could be generated because the data/library that you have in your job is defined on one of the servers,      Check if you have selected a server to run for the nodes in your job, generally this is default, however you can force it to run on a particular ws, if this is different to you deployed batch location it will generate signons....      Check your default server when you generate the code,      so many different posibilities... Off the top of my head, may have missed something... You need to pass parameters from the loop to the inner job that is in the loop (SVP Stage Loader). How? Setup paramters in the inner job (one of the tabs on the inner job), this will create macro vars that you can use in that job .  Link the parameters created in the inner job to the loop (one of the tabs on the loop) and all should be good Barry ... Hi Linus. My thoughts (could be completly wrong ) I don't think the batch SAS Session running would know this, unless you passed a parameter in the batch command.  The job flow name is known in the Metadata and possibly the scheduler of your choice.  We are using LSF, and there is an option to include the flow name in the Log of each batch sas session, not sure if that is available for the windows scheduler.  But when trying to find this option I can't seem to find it anymore... A warning with the copy, and then deleting the old objects.  The copy creates new object ID's so any thing using those old tables objects will break. Doesn't this imply you have a metadata server on your pc?  If you don't, not sure that this is possible, unless your PC has a registered workspace server on it The parameters would depend on your installation.... But thought the profile setup wizard was pretty self explanatory. Barry ... View more

There seems to be a lot of not an options comments, what are the reasons... as it seems to me you are making a complex situation way more complex... Not only will you have to configure the metadata security, you also have to integrate your chosen authentication method with your file system as you are accessing data in your reports...
