To join the 2024 SAS Hackathon, each team needs to create a Team Profile on the SAS Support Communities. Visit communities.sas.com and sign in. Don't have one yet? Creating a profile is quick and easy.

Once you are signed in, click on "SAS Hacker's Hub" under the "Hubs" dropdown menu. Click the orange "Join Group Hub" button. Then, click the arrow next to "Start a topic" and select "Create a library article." You could also start an article by visiting the "Team Profiles" under "Community areas" and clicking the orange "Create An Article" button. From here, select the "Hacker's Hub Team Profile" template and click "Start Article."

Please title your new article "Team Name - Use Case" and fill out your team's information in the chart in the body text area. Bonus points if you link your teammates' Communities profile in the 'Team members' section. As the hackathon progresses, you will need to edit this Team Profile... so adding your team members as contributors is a good idea, so they are able update the Team Profile as well. Remember to also choose a label for your track. And feel free to add a photo representing your team.

If you would like to include an optional introduction video for your team, click so your cursor is underneath the chart and  click the "Insert video" button. Browse your computer and select a video file to upload. Name your video “Team Name - Intro Video” and click on the "Insert Video" button.

Once that is all done, click "Publish" and you have successfully created your Team Profile on the Hacker's Hub.
