To be considered for the SAS Hackathon awards, and to have “completed” the SAS Hackathon, a team needs to submit the following:
NEXT STEPS:
Step 1: Learn all about the required final video submissions by watching this On-demand webinar: “What You Need to Know About Your Video Submissions”.
Step 2: Check out this blog post “Get the down low on video storytelling” on the SAS Hacker’s Hub. You will find a Guidelines PDF and mp4 video assets to use in your team’s videos.
Step 3: Review the judging criteria.
Step 4: Use a storyboard to outline your video. Record screen shots, b-roll, etc. (make sure to NOT capture any sensitive information or you can blur it out in video editing).
Step 5: Export your project files before the cloud environments are deleted on Oct. 11 at 11:59 p.m. ET. More information on how to export content can be found in this blog post on the SAS Hacker’s Hub: “How to use the Export Content Custom Step”.
Step 6: Create your team’s two videos: Pitch (2-3 minutes) and Jury (7-10 minutes).
Step 7: Upload your final two videos and your team photo to BOTH locations by 11:59 p.m. ET on Oct. 18: Video Submissions SharePoint site and your Team Profile on SAS Hacker’s Hub.
