Hello Hackers & Happy Friday!

Brought to you in partnership with Microsoft & Intel, we extend our deepest gratitude to the 1,600 innovators from around the globe who have registered for our SAS Hackathon!

Our current focus is on qualifying teams based on their Team Profile in the Hackers’ Hub (Use Case, Data, and Team). Note that the Student Track is an exception; SAS provides both the data and use case for this track. To participate, you must have at least two members and a student email. Dive into the details here: https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Hacker-s-Hub/tkb-p/hackathontkb-board

Starting September 9th, we’ll launch a series of countdown webinars designed to equip you with all the essential information and content needed to optimize your preparation.

Given the volume of participants, there may be a brief delay in qualifying and approving all teams. Once approved, you will be paired with a mentor to explore “cloud options” and refine your use case.

This year, beyond the standard capabilities of SAS Viya, you will have the chance to experiment with cutting-edge features like SAS Viya Workbench, SAS Viya Model Cards, SAS Data Maker, and the exclusive “SAS Viya Copilot – SAS Hackathon Edition.” For those in the Student Track, SAS Viya for Learners will be your tool of choice.
