where can I find the answers to the sample questions that are on SAS website for practice?
The scoring macro is not distributed. A) It's a complex program. and B) There is the whole security aspect.
The sample questions provide the look and feel of actual test questions and are not intended to assist with preparation for the exam. Consider them an advanced look to be used early in the preparation process to provide some insight into the type, format, and difficulty of the questions. Therefore, complete rationale / solutions are not provided. Of course, you can still use these for practice, but that will include the process of determining why the right answer is right, and in the case of a lab question, what the actual code will be. Not a bad exercise.
The free practice exam for the A00-232 exam does provide full solution code for lab questions.
While the practice exam also does not make use of the scoring macro, the introduction video on the credential page describes the macro and shows exactly how to use it, starting at about the 3:50 mark.
Hi @shobha, which questions do you mean? The ones on the page https://www.sas.com/en_au/certification/credentials/foundation-tools/advanced-programming-profession... ?

Markus
Markus,
that is right. Below is the link to the actual sample questions.
How do I check the answers after I attempt them?
Thanks,
Shobha
Hi Shobha,
at the end of each question you can find the correct solution (see example below):

Markus
I see that, but where is the code?
How do I find this - What is the value for Response in the SAS log?
Also, it says 'From the score.sas program, call the scoreit macro using ACT01 as the parameter: %scoreit(ACT01)'. Where is the score.sas?
Sorry for being slow. Now I have got it.
For practising for the exam I recommend "SAS® Certified Professional Prep Guide: Advanced Programming Using SAS® 9.4" or the practise exam in later stage.

Markus
Marcus, thank you for your reponses, but I am talking about the circled portion below.
I created the output dataset work.ACT01 using sashelp.pricedata as input and ran the program. After that I saved my program as ACT01.sas as instructed in step 1, how do I execute step 2 in the sample question 1 now?
Thanks!
Hi @Mark2010, please can you help. Are the Sample Questions just examples? Or can the the scoreit macro be found somewhere?
Best Markus

Hello Markus,
I got you now and watched the introduction video also. Thanks so much for responding to my questions.
Thanks,
Shobha
