Hello everyone, I just finished my Base Test today, and I want to post a review about this test! Due to the covid, I had no choice to take the test at home, and went through the exam by Pearson! It was my bad experience! During the check-in section, they asked me to scan my room, ID but my phone cannot do it because of the "low memory " or something so I had to use my Laptop's webcam to show my Proctorer around my room! After finished it, I launched my test and their server was really slow and slow responding! It took me 10 minutes to write two easy data and proc steps even I got a really good Internet Bandwidth! I think I passed it but it would be a good suggestion for future people who want to take the test at home, you should go to the test center! 😓
Sorry for your experience with testing from home. Please reach out to us at certification@sas.com with your email that you used for your exam and/or your exam registration ID so that we may investigate further.
We are thankful for the opportunity that Pearson's OnVUE system provides for remote testing during these challenging times of the pandemic. Remote proctoring has additional variables, such as local network congestion, Internet connection problems, local hardware and software differences and all of these can result in a poor experience for some clients and for that, we apologize and will work with you to resolve the issue.
Overall, the Pearson OnVUE system delivers thousands of exams per day for Pearson's clients with very good performance for the vast majority of candidates. As the world's network connectivity improves, so will this important service. That does not diminish your poor experience and we take these issues seriously and look forward to working with you personally.
Sincerely,
Mark of the Global SAS Certification Team

Hello Mark, I think I have watched all your video tips and I had helped me a lot during taking Sas Test! The test was not that difficult but Person's technical problems had made me unable to get a higher score! However, pass still pass, right? I would like to thank you and this forum's contents had helped me learn SAS in a logical way! I will send an email to certification@sas.com to share my experience with them!
Once again, thank you and have a good one!
