Miguel, I am still stuck with the problem.  I am not getting the same result.  I was looking for someone who took the same course and wanted to know how they resolved the problem.  I cannot not move forward as the next exercise use the output data from the exercise I am having problem with. I am taking an e-learning course, Applied Analytics Using SAS Enterprise Miner. I am getting a result for a practice in the regression model lesson different from the solusion. I followed the steps and still not getting the same result in the solution.  The problem involves tha dataset called Organics.  The practice involved is "Impute missing values, and then run the regression node." (screen 41 in the Regression Models lesson).  The number of input variables should have been 16.  I am getting a lot more (41). I do not what causes different answer.  I followed the steps as instructed.  Has anyone taken this course and experienced the same problem?  I need to resolve this issue before I can move on as the practices in later lessons depends on the answers in previous practices. ... I need to run 'proc lifetest' on  a very large longitudinal data (> 1 mil).  I would like to create the ProductLimitEstimates table as a SAS data without printing in the SAS output window because it makes the output window full. I am merging two data sets (#1 & 2) by age. I am getting output (Data set #3) witch did not merge for age <20. Does anyone knows what's going on?  Thanks. The file was not created in the mainframe.  I used the mainframe only as a placeholder. The file was created in another server. ... View more

I assume it was moved as binary. The file was created in a server then moved to mainframe from where I copied to PC. It had fixed length records from the start. 62000000 is a larger number of records at the point when it stopped. ... View more

The SAS finished the job w/o generating error message. So there is no error in the log. It is as if there were only 6.2 mil records in the input file.  So if the record count was not given in advance there is no way of knowing the SAS finished before it reached the end of file.  ... View more

I am trying to read a text file generated in Mainframe.  I used EBCDIC format with recfm=f option.  However, SAS stops before it reaches the end-of-file. The input file has 8.2 mil records but SAS stop after it reads 6.2 mil.  Does anyone have a solution to this problem?  Thanks. ... View more
