Hi @sandeep_reddy SASHOME concept is the same on any machine (you just won't find the same components installed in both). Now I will reiterate my previous advice about contacting Technical Support https://support.sas.com/techsup/contact/ They'll be able to compare your deploymentregistry reports, review logs, etc. and assist you in a better timely manner (and they'll be in your timezone too ) Cheers, Damo

Hi @sandeep_reddy Are you wondering what the !SASHOME reference is? It is where all your SAS binaries are installed (SAS Foundation, etc.) Said that, you mentioned earlier that out of 2 users, 1 has the problem, not the other one. Did you run the test on the same machine or did you use a separate machine per user? What I'm saying is that if you used only one machine to conduct both tests, the issue might not be related to the certificate (has both users would use the same configuration in that case). But if you use the same user on 2 separate machines, the certificate might be the cause of the problem. Cheers, Damo

Hi @sandeep_reddy Is one of the user an internal account (@saspw) ? It could be the reason if that user does not have an external identities (and can't launch a Workspace Server). If that does not help you, you should really be in touch with your SAS Technical Support, that way you can share the complete log, users' definitions, etc. This is the best avenue. Cheers, Damo

Hi Sandeep, It might be a better option for you to raise that issue with your Technical Support. Regarding the SMC instance you're using, you'll have to check what is installed. Usage Note 55607 (SAS® Management Console might not enable you to use the promotion tools to move SAS® Visual Analytics content objects) might be relevant to the behaviour you're experiencing. (If logical types are missing and you won't get a chance in the short term to add them, you may want to perform the same action from your MidTier/WebTier server for instance, if the SMC is installed there). Hi @mariajohnqwerty As mentioned earlier, you would need to use the SAS Deployment Wizard (setup.exe from your downloaded \SAS Software Depot folder). Then from there, steps are simple. From the Select Deployment Type window, select Install SAS Foundation and Related Software. Then from the next window (Select Products to Install), click on the Clear All button then tick SAS Data Integration Studio. Follow remaining steps and that's it. Hope that helps. Cheers, Damo

Hi Jade, The Database Server should not be empty as it will pick automatically one of the server defined in your Metadata. This is the content extracted from the EG log (you can also access it from the interface and the HELP button if the definition is not good enough) The relevant extract confirming that the list should not be empty is that one: The drop-down list displays the database servers that have been defined in the active SAS Metadata Repository. If the server that you want to use is not defined in the metadata, then that server does not appear in the drop-down list. Your administrator can use SAS Management Console to define additional servers. If you are using EG with a Metadata Server, you'll need to add that definition, using the SAS Management Console. This would be a task for your SAS administrator. Cheers, Damien

Hi ep12, The issue might be resolved by now but for such problem, you may want to contact your local SAS Technical Support. said that, an easy workaround might be to change the device you're using. From Tools => Options => Graph, you can change the Graph Format. Hope that helps. Cheers, Damo

Hi nd, Thanks for the screenshot. With EG, i'm not aware of a "file shortcuts" section. Said that, there is another way to store your program to get them easily accessible. Are you connected to a Metadata Server? if yes, you'll be able to store your program within the SAS folder of your choice. From Save As, at the top you have to select the Save in value. You have to pick SAS Folders. That way, you'll always have access to your programs. Hope that helps. Cheers, Damo

Hi emera86, Unfortunately, that functionality does not exist for now. EG will use as you noted the last location (that location is retrieved from the %appdata%\SAS\EnterpriseGuide\7.1\SaveDlg file for your information). But the following request was made. In a future release, it's possible that you'll be able to tell EG to use the location of where you opened the file from. For instance, if you open a project from C:\Temp (maybe not the best location ), add objects and use Save As..., it will use that C:\Temp location by default. Cheers, Damo

Hi nd, Do you mean you want to change the default application being used to open those SAS programs, and select EG instead of SAS Foundation (Base)? In that case you can simply use the SAS Deployment Manager (available from \SASHome\SASDeploymentManager\9.4\sasdm.exe). After you choose the language, under Administration Tasks, you ahve to select Manage SAS File Types. You can then choose which application is used for .sas files is it what you're looking for? (If you want to simply run your 2 programs with EG, you only have to add them to your project). Cheers, Damo
