@Babloo Typically the WORK Library physical path would look something like this /<SomePath>/SAS_workxxxxxxxxxxxx_<Fully Quqlified Server Name>/ In both SAS Studio 5.2 / SAS StudioV your SAS Viya Admin may have only allowed/configured certain folders that can be exposed via the Explore Navigation pane. Therefore I would contact your SAS Viya Admin and request he/she download that file for you. To make this process more clear, try to assign the File reference as follows FILENAME _WEBOUT "%sysfunc(pathname(WORK))/_webout.html"; This way you'll have a physical file name he/she can look for under the /sastmp/ folder Hope this helps

@Babloo When you use the 'TEMP' keyword for in your Filename statement, SAS creates a special physical file under the WORK Library path called something like (#LN000XX) XX is a number. You can use this statement to find your current WORK Library physical path %put %sysfunc(pathname(WORK)); You'll need to look there or a level above it for the #LN000XX file 😉, Once you open it (#LN000XX) using a Browser, you should be able to see the Check Boxes. PS. I used UltraEdit to reformat/tidy the generated HTML as well as Apply "Browser View" to show the Check Boxes.

@_Sas_Beginner_ I personally would try to avoid all this convoluted mixture of techniques! Try to simplify and isolate operations into their own individual units/functions/macros if you can, here is why It will provide better traceable/understandable code. Think of who will have to take over your code in the future When code modules are separated/decoupled, they can work in parallel as and when needed SAS provided various ways to run custom code, but that doesn't mean one should mix them just for the sake of it. Always try to think "Horses for Courses". i.e. choose the right technique for the right purpose. Take a step back, and re-analyze what's your ultimate goal from your custom code, and reevaluate what needs to be coupled vs. decoupled. This is all I can advice you with

In this case for Vanilla HTML/JS you are probably will need to Read and follow this article Series "Data Entry in SAS Visual Analytics 8.3: Part 1, The basics" Get familiar with HTML control tags HTML Tutorial (w3schools.com) and JavaScript Ajax AJAX Introduction (w3schools.com) With this approach, you are writing/composing the HTML output using the SAS language. Alternatively Teach yourself React JS React Tutorial (w3schools.com) Pick your choice out of these links and follow it as needed Develop web applications series: Options for extracting data Rapid SAS App Deployment Building and Deploying Web Apps With SASjs CLI If you want my opinion, this could be a lengthy process and involves steep learning curve! You probably would be better served seeking React JS versed developer(s) to assist you. Good luck

Talk to your SAS Account Executive, he/she can arrange that Prof Of Concept (POC) Hope this helps

@sasprofile Looking at this page https://www.sas.com/en_us/software/viya/moving-to-viya.html The supported K8S distributions are listed there. if you were to try installing SAS Viya on other K8S distributions, and issues arise during and/or after, you may not be able to get support! @Babloo Sorry! I feel your pain, so let us reset and start fresh. Here are what I would like to recommend you do. Ask your SAS Viya Administrator to add your custom library assignment(s) to the /opt/sas/viya/config/etc/workspaceserver/default/autoexec_usermods.sas file, and make sure all your required data sets are stored in the location where the custom library(is) would be pointing to, and everyone has the ability to read these tables/data sets (File permissions set as 644 (rw-r--r--), Directory permissions set as 755 (rwxr-xr-x)) Follow the steps outlined in the Create a SAS Viya Job with a prompt using Task Prompts article, and for clarifications read the online docs SAS Help Center: Overview of the Task Prompting Interface Test and measure response times, then refine/tune your data if needs be. @Babloo "Error which I got is, 'ERROR: No logical assign for filename _WEBOUT." The _webout is a special Socket I/O File reference that the JobExecution Server assigns, allow SAS sessions writing directly to browser response. From within your SAS Studio session, If you were to assign this file reference (_webout) to any dummy file on your file-system, the data step would work as expected.

"struggling fetch value from the SAS datasets to show in the prompts" I'm guessing this is due to not having the Library defined when the job executes!? As I had mentioned before, ask your SAS Viya Administrator to add this library assignment at the Compute Server startup/initialization step. Typically, the custom library assignment would be placed in this file /opt/sas/viya/config/etc/workspaceserver/default/autoexec_usermods.sas Hope this helps

@Babloo As a SAS skilled person working with SAS Viya 3.5, My preference would be Use the Task Prompts Optimize my SAS data sets for querying. The Task Prompts are more mature and provides lots of functionality out of the box (Stored Process Prompting Framework). It's shortens the development time. But if you are a Web Stack Developer (Web, CSS, JS, Ajax) you may find the developing the HTML page more appealing, but you'll still need to interact with SAS skilled person, and someone who is familiar with how SAS Stored Processes used to work, as they are fundamentally provide the origin of the Task prompts. Just my 2 cents
