We’re ringing in the new year with a BIG update to the SAS Viya Overview Course — now refreshed for SAS Viya 2025.09 LTS (released November 20th). Best of all, the full course is FREE for everyone, so enjoy the material and share it! We’re also working on translations in 11 different languages, so stay tuned for more updates. The course’s demo videos are also published externally on the SAS Video Portal and YouTube.

Below is a summary of what’s new and updated.

NEW: Streaming Analytics with SAS Event Stream Processing

UPDATE: SAS Studio Videos

SAS Studio received a major interface refresh, along with plenty of new and improved features. We’ve updated all SAS Studio videos in the course—and the corresponding external videos—to reflect the latest experience:

NEW: Diabetes Research Case Study

We’ve added a comprehensive case study that walks through the data and AI lifecycle using a real-world scenario. You’ll access, explore, prepare, analyze, and model data related to diabetes diagnoses and key predictive factors.

It’s a great opportunity to get hands-on experience using SAS Viya applications to answer an authentic research question from end to end.
