Hi, I'm outputting to RTF using ODS (in SAS 9.1.3). In PROC TEMPLATE, I can add borders to both headers AND footers by modifying "SysTitleAndFooterContainer from Container". However, how do I place a border on the FOOTER ONLY? Thanks.

Dear, When I call up to use Information Map Studio, after selecting the metadata repository and entering userid/password, the following error message was prompted The Metadata server could not associate an identity with your connection Are there any ideas on the cause behind? Thanks

I'm using gplot and ODS to create some pdf reports. Is there a way to force multiple graphs on a single page when you're using a by variable in your proc gplot?

Well, you are correct on many counts. It should be easy and it is not. Things are better in 9.2, but that does not help. I also believe this is a defect for frame=below in RTF. Here is some code to get that double line at the bottom of Proc Report. Control of borders on specific cells is not going to work in 9.1. If you want to talk over the this code and what it is doing, please let me know. Another thing to note is that EG3 (at least) can be an enormous memory hog. My EG3 sessions regularly hit 150Mb and I have seen them hit half a gig.

Is it possible to modify the an ODS style sheet in a way in order to add text before each table created by a procedure? For example, add the text "XXXX" before each table created by a PROC REPORT output? I have tried using the PRETEXT="XXXX" statement, however this also adds the text in to every cell the the tables along with before each table. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Dear, I now solve the problem. This is due to the mis-configuration of the spawner. It has now been fixed. Thanks very much. At present, I can successfully install and configure the backend Metadata server and OLAP server for cube building. I am not trying to configure the components relating to the cube access components, including the OLAP viewer and Information Map. However, when I invoke the 'SAS Information Map Studio 2.1', I always get the error 'The Metadata server could not associate an identity with your connection'. I am not sure whether there are any configuration not yet performed or due to other problems? Do you have any ideas? Also, about using OLAP viewer to access the cubes or reports, what is the url to invoke through OLAP viewer? Thanks

The SAS Workspace Server invoked by EG is started with the -noxcmd option and therefore we cannot start excel from within EG. How can we change the option to -xcmd? The server we are executing on is the Local server but as defined when connecting to a metadata repository and NOT the local EG repository.

I wish to do something that (I think) should be quite simple, but is proving to be rediculously difficult to do. I am using PROC REPORT and outputting to RTF using ODS (and am using SAS 9.1.3). I have created by own style sheet using PROC TEMPLATE, but I need assistance with one part. I want my output to have a solid single line separating the column headers from the values in the columns, and I want a doubleline at the base of the "table". In my PROC TEMPLATE I am using: style table from container / frame = below rules = none borderbottomstyle = double However this gives a double line under the column headers as well as at the base of the table. Can somebody please give me guidance?
