When doing period over period aggregations in VA, missing values may be generated due to left censoring. For example, if data runs from Jan 2014-Dec 2015, monthly period over period % change metrics will be missing for CY 2014 as CY 2013 is needed for the computation. In this example, it would be very helpful if 2014 period over period % change metrics could be hidden from plots, charts, and xtabs (filtering does not work as the 2014 data is needed for the 2015 aggregations ).
