I have seen in SAS reports a landing page with report image and link to the report. How to save a report image of a whole page? When I am clicking I can only select one object on a page but not the whole page. Pls advise.

The author of the Windows app says that the steps are incorrect and should read as follows:

  1. Tap within the report.
  2. Tap the … menu in the upper right corner.
  3. Tap Export image.
  4. Windows might ask you to select an app to open the image in. Snip & Sketch is a good system provided option. A screen capture of the entire page opens in the selected app.

However, if you cannot find a "..." icon anywhere, check whether you are actually using the Windows app or are using the VA web application in a browser.

Hello,

I think the landing pages you are thinking of might have been created with the VA SDK:

https://support.sas.com/software/products/visual-analytics-sdk/index.html

If you could share a screen capture of the kind of landing page you are thinking of, that would help us figure it out for sure.

Thanks,

Sam

Specifically, SASReportPageElement in the VA SDK displays a report page.

Thank you for your replies. However it sounds more complicated then I thought. I wanted a screenshot or an image of whole page to make report overview. In documentation I have found https://documentation.sas.com/doc/en/bivwrwin/8.3/share-images_save.htm , but I do not know where to tap on ... 3 dots Somehow I am only selting one objects and not all of them

As it happens, the version 8.3 documentation you were reading is very out of date and should have been removed a long time ago.

You should refer to this documentation for the Windows app:

https://go.documentation.sas.com/doc/en/bivwrwincdc/8.50_01/bivwrwinwlcm/home.htm

(More specifically, to here: https://go.documentation.sas.com/doc/en/bivwrwincdc/8.50_01/bivwrwin/export-image.htm)

Thanks,

Sam
