pre-select or default value on drop-downlist SAS VA

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to use a users username dynamically in SAS VA to be selected as default value on a drop-down list in SAS VA? like &_METAUSER. can be used in Stored processes. The effect I want is that my report (with drop-down lists) will be filtered by the specific user who load the report.

How do I make it to work in practice?

We are running sas va 7.3.

Hi Anlyng,

I'm not sure what way you are building your report. 

But asked is might be possible using row level security on your LASR table.
