I am trying to upload a dataset to LASR. (sze 4 MB). I got the following error:
ERROR: Metadata Server denied access to operation.
ERROR: The SAS System stopped processing this step because of insufficient memory.
NOTE: There were yyyyy observations read from the data set xxxxx
WARNING: The data set xxxxx may be incomplete. When this step was stopped there were yyyyy observations and nn variables.
ERROR: Metadata Server denied access to operation.
Is it a Linux setup?
I've had the same issue on our SAS Setup. After several hours og investigation, conversations with SAS consultants, their support was able to help me. It seems to be an error during the setup of the SAS Enviroment. In the config file you need to deifne how much memory the LASR server is allowed to use. This was fixed by help from SAS Support, as I'm not so familiar with changing parameter on the Linux side in the enviroment.

I contacted my UNIX team and they resolved with help of SAS.
