SAS VA 7.4 : Date Range Slider shows calendar in designer view, but the calendar disappeared in actual report view.
Image attached.
It's hidden :)!
You can access it by clicking on one of the "Dots" in the slider, i.e the ones you drag to select date.

Hi FredrikE,
Thanks for the informative reply!
Is there any way to show it by default?
I don't understand why things in designer mode always appear differently in viewer mode.
It's frustrating when the designer mode UI is nicer than the viewer UI.
I have not find any way to show it by default, we do not use it anymore, we use lists with different date dimensions instead.
Version 7.4 is a mix between flash (designer) and html5 (viewer).
In Viya versions 8.x both are in html5, so get used to it 🙂
In 7.4 you can set the stadard viewing interface to "classic" and make the viewer use flash as well, but since flash is dying I alwas use html5.

Hi FredrikE !
as you mentioned, we use lists with different date dimensions instead.
Can you explain me how do you do it with some of screenshots ?
Regards,
Ashish
HI!
We add a prompt container to the report prompt area and then fill it with one list for each year, month, week and date. This is the swedish version. Each list sorted in descending order to make it easy to select the most current dates.
The lists are linked and filtered:
