Hello,

I have a pretty simple task that I can't find any way to do it. I created a Cross table in SAS Visual Analytics, our clients wants to exports the cross table to Excel (With the exact format that is in SAS VA, same style etc... or at least only the format)

The problem that I have is that I can only see two types of exports : Exports as Image and Export the Data to Excel (which exports the Data and not the table as it is).

Is there any other workaround ?

Thank you so much

The Add-in for Microsoft Office is included in the installation depot of the SAS software. Your SAS administrators can either install it, or give you the standalone installer file (if you have the necessary administrator permissions to install it yourself).

I'm afraid it's not wirking, I am using SAS VA on SAS 9.4 and I can't find any option to Copy/Paste the table or any other object. I tried to use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V but unfortunately it's not working either.

@Achraf_Ougdal,

I haven't used Excel with VA it myself so far, but have a look at

SAS Tutorial | Working with SAS Visual Analytics Reports in Microsoft Excel - YouTube.

It might give you some ideas.

Best

Markus

Thank you for your reply, Yes I saw the video, it requires an add-in for Excel and it's not available for download for free. I'm perfectly aware that this will solve our problem entirely but since we cannot purchase the Add-In, I was wondering if there's another Way to do it ?

Can you please show me the path to where is it included ?

IIRC, the SAS depot has a directory called Standalone Installers. You should find it there.

It's been some time since I did my last BI Server installation.
