Hi All

I'm new to VA and I'm hoping someone has a tip for this. When I duplicate a report -- for example, when I'm developing and I want a backup and/or want to enhance the report in a second version -- all the Controls and their parameters seem to lose sync in the new report. That is, the original control, called CONTROL, becomes CONTROL(1)... and the original parameter, called PARAMETER, gets renamed PARAMETER(1) and no longer talks to the object filters so I have to manually rename them in the object filter.

I also have to duplicate calculated items and manually reset them to look at the new Parameter(1)'s etc.

What am I doing wrong? Is there a better way?

*EDIT: note that the controls are not page or report controls

Thanks!

Which version of Visual Analytics are you using, and how are you duplicating the reports. Are you doing a Save As?

Hi Madeline. Thanks for your response.

Version 2021.2.5

And I'm duplicating the page. I duplicated RX Compare 1.1 to create RX Compare 2.
