Hello and good afternoon!

 

i was wondering if anyone here could assist me. i am working with Pie charts and i need to be able to assign colors to specific values, what I am finding is that as data is sorted the colors will change based on the value or position of the data and it is a little challenging to present data consistently when the colors change when data is filtered. here is an example of what I mean:

 

Here is a custom Pie chart with 2 colors assigned:

Now this doesn't change, however when I introduce a NEW data it changes to:

More examples: here is a standard pie chart, which i assigned specific random colors:

When new data is introduced:

I would like to learn how to assign data values a specific color, and have them never changed regardless of filters if at all possible. I would deeply appreciate any information that you can provide me with assist with this!

You can use rules for that purpose. 

 

Decide between the scope of the the rules, object specific or report global.
