I have taught Enterprise Miner using SAS OnDemand previously multiple times. Last time was spring semester 2022. Previously, there was no install on the student computer (Mac or Windows) other than Java. Students (and myself) logged into SAS OnDemand and downloaded a small "main.jnlp" file. Double-click on the file and after a few moments, Enterprise Miner (OnDemand) opened in the web browser.
Now I am logging into the new SAS OnDemand page. For Enterprise Miner, there now appears to be a "SAS Enterprise Miner 152.exe" install of roughly 600 mb that is Windows only. I downloaded it, entered the proper URL and am logged into Enterprise Miner OnDemand. All my old material is there.
My real question is did the previous approach of "just" downloading a "main.jnlp" file to run Enterprise Miner go away and now the students must download the "SAS Enterprise Miner 152.exe" or am I just missing the old approach?
Thanks.
