Hi Team,

After creating the datasets, we are getting error like ERROR: Invalid or missing ALTER password on member CES0123.SIM_MAP_COINS.DATA. even we have not set any alter password.

Could you please check and update why this issue came.

Regards,

Chandra

Is CES0123.SIM_MAP_COINS  a SAS dataset?  If so, please run PROC CONTENTS and show the output, it should show if there is a password under PROTECTION.

Are you able to recreate this problem?  If so, please run a small example that replicates the problem and post the full code and log.  The code should create a dataset that did not exist previously, and then attempt to insert data into that dataset (or overwrite it), and trigger the error.

It might be of help.

Thanks & kind regards,
