We are first timers en want to experience Global Forum in the best way ever. We travel from overseas Europe from the Netherlands and would like to know if there are any sessions we must go to and don't miss out on. Any session with customer experience or solutions with VIYA would be great. We are also at partner forum. Any Tips, Beer, Eat or BBQ sessions are welcome. We join you.
Thx in advance and see you in Dallas.

Planning is key. I was a first timer last year and had to skip a couple of sessions because they were full. Take all the hands on workshops you can but plan on an alternate session as well as the hands on workshops tend to fill up quickly. Last year there were lines forming 30 minutes prior, so also prioritize the sessions you want to attend and make sure you are early for those. Read the proceedings to see if the content is really something you want to learn.
Wear comfortable shoes! Visit the Quad often. Take an extra bag for swag. Talk to people, network.
The average high temperature in Dallas will be around 80 degrees so plan accordingly. Along with shorts and flip flops bring a coat or sweater for the forum.
Have fun!
thx 4 sharing.
Stay tuned for a new series starting next week for tips and tricks for first time attendees to SAS Global Forum. And really it is great for anyone who hasn't attended in a while or just wants to know what helps navigate the conference!
