Hi All,

I have a user who is unable to log in with the following error [see attached].

From what I can see the suggestions are around deleting some XML files in the EG\5.1 folder.

I was just  wondering if you can advise on the matter...

thank you

Kind regards

Hi Mitreto,

Yes, we have seen this issue a couple times.  We don't currently have an explanation for why the SDSControl.xml file is sometimes getting saved in a bad xml format (all NUL characters), however you can workaround by having the user simply delete this file:

%appdata%\SAS\SharedSettings\7.1\SDSControl.xml

We already made changes in the next release to better handle this issue.
