Hi, I have two questions, first one, is there a way in SAS EG to search for a path?

I wanted to make a program where the end-user determines where they want to save their report files, a first approach would be getting a parameter to input a path text, but that would not be good for the user that wants a comfortable and easy to use program.

Another question I had was if there was a way a program could prompt yes/no messages to the user to proceed on the operations, without javaobj?

Thanks in advance for the response.

Hello,

Yes you could be able to do that using prompts in SAS EG.

1) Open prompt manager >add

2) Name the prompt and under Prompt Type and Values select Text, static list, single value.

3) Right click the program>Properties>Prompts and select the prompt you  created.
