Modify variable type in SAS model studio

I am working on machine learning task in sas model studio, I have a variable bmi that's character and I want to change it to numeric, but I'm not really sure how to proceed.

From which data source did you create the table and how?
I don't think you can change it directly in model studio, so you will need to modify the data table itself that you are currently referring to.

I got the dataset from kaggle, I guess I should change the data type before working with it in  sas model studio.
