Experiencing SAS Global Forum as a SAS Novice – EVRY

Attending SAS Global Forum was for me both educational and fun. Being new to SAS, there were many choices and ample alternatives to choose between from the conference program. However, the choice between different presentations, tracks and the different booths in The Quad made it simple to adjust the conference selections to my level of expertise. I was particularly inspired by Ajay Agarwal’s presentation, the Technology Connection, and Reshma Saujani. I have had several interesting discussions about these presentations with colleagues and friends in retrospect.

As a Consultant attending SAS Global Forum for the first time, this experience opened my eyes to what SAS has to offer, making it easier passing this knowledge to our customers. It has also made me want to learn more about SAS.

The networking possibilities were countless during the conference, which I really enjoyed. It challenged me personally, but I also had a lot of fun discussing with peers from all over the world.

I might have been one of the younger attendees at the conference, but I felt very well taken care of. Everyone from SAS Institute that I was in contact with was friendly and helpful.

This was my first time at SAS Global Forum. I was in one of the winning teams from the Nordic Hack in SAS Viya, with a ticket to the conference, transport, and accommodations as first prize.
